I was chatting with my 15 year-old cousin Noah while we chowed on some of gmas pancakes. He lives in Pennsylvania and was talking about how different life is there compared to Utah....

Noah: "Ya like they don't call suckers suckers. They call them lollipops! How weird is that? Like I walked up to the counter and asked how much the suckers were and they lady just stared at me. Finally she asked me if I was talking about lollipops. And I was like "Oh.....yeah." "

Me: "They don't know what suckers are?"

Noah: "No and whatever you do, don't call lollipops suckers. I totally felt persecuted for my Utahness."
