I took a weekend jaunt to St. George this past weekend to enjoy motorcycling in 70 degree weather. After an exhausting day of riding, I was chatting with my 5 year old half-brother Jake as we were falling asleep.
During our pillow talk, Jake was telling me about Mary. He loves her. She has red hair, blue eyes and is pretty. She even sat by him and colored with him once.
I asked Jake why he liked her and he simply replied... "she wears shoes."
If only I would have known earlier that the way to a boy's heart was so easy.
